My work focuses on the design and evaluation of international development projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m an independent consultant working on projects that foster evidence-based programming in international development and measure progress toward objectives. I&#8217;m currently working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deliveryassociates.com\/\">Delivery Associates<\/a> on a project that helps build an adaptive Results Based Management systems across the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/llf\">Lives and Livelihoods Fund<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am committed to helping programme teams engage with the complexity of the problems they\u2019re trying to solve. Together with colleagues, I developed a new approach to programme design and programme theory development. We recently published an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/full\/10.1177\/1098214018786462\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">article<\/a>\u00a0about the approach in the American Journal of Evaluation, and have built a <a href=\"http:\/\/actorbasedchange.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"actorbasedchange.com\">website <\/a>with more resources (more on this soon!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before going independent, I was part of <a href=\"http:\/\/integrityglobal.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"integrityglobal.com\">Integrity<\/a>&#8216;s Monitoring and Evaluation team, and before that I worked in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thepalladiumgroup.com\">Palladium\u2018s <\/a>Design and Innovation unit. I have lived and worked in India, Vietnam and Honduras. I hold an MSc in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lse.ac.uk\/study-at-lse\/Graduate\/degree-programmes-2023\/MSc-Development-Management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Development Management<\/a>\u00a0from the London School of Economics and an MSc in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gsss.uva.nl\/content\/masters\/political-science\/political-science.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Political Science<\/a>\u00a0from the University of Amsterdam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m a development specialist based in London.
